Oluyemisi ('Yemisi) Ogunjimi (nee Oluyomi) is a young Canadian who was born in Nigeria, West Africa. She's married to Abiodun and they are blessed with two sons. She presently resides in Toronto, Canada with her family.

'Yemisi is a singer, songwriter and a minister of the gospel and she has been actively involved in gospel music since the age of 13. She cannot forget her training or grooming days at Foursquare Gospel Church, Surulere, Lagos and at the Ibadan Varsity Christian Union Choir (IVCU in Oyo State, Nigeria).

When you listen to 'Yemisi, you will know she's definitely blessed with a unique voice that is like no other and she has a great ability to connect with her audience through her songs. 'Yemisi's strength is in her passionate and emotion-packed renditions that surely minister to her audience and leaves them craving for more.

Her primary intention is to minister to souls: to thriving Christians, backslidden Christians and to those who need the Saviour to come into their hearts. She lets her listeners know that it is only in Jesus that they can find peace that passes all understanding. Above all these, 'Yemisi has a heart for worship for the King of kings.

Her music covers lots of genre: inspirational, gospel, contemporary, African praise, Praise and worship to name a few. Her debut CD titled "I can count on You" has been and is still a great resource of inspiration to many souls. She wrote 6 of the 10 tracks CD. 'Yemisi has been given the opportunity to minister in several countries such as Nigeria, The United Kingdom, United States of America (where she was opportuned to share the stage with the renowned Alvin Slaughter) and Trinidad as well as in many cities across Canada such as Calgary, Edmonton, Greater Toronto Area and Windsor. A notable opportunity she's had was to minister before over 6 million people at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Camp in Nigeria. She counts that a great privilege.

She has been featured on 100 Huntley Street twice and many times on the Nite Lite Live programs on CTS TV. She has also appeared on "The Miracle Channel".
